Final Fantasy Artniks Reaches 1 Million Registered Users

Square Enix partnered up with social game legend GREE to create a new Final Fantasy social game called “Final Fantasy Artniks”. The social game is a crossover title which incorporates character cards from all of the numbered Final Fantasy games, in addition to spinoff game titles such as Dissidia, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.

Players of Final Fantasy Artniks will be able to go on quests to fight popular enemies such as Kefka from Final Fantasy VI and even Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.

Moreover, Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy Artniks reached 1 million registered users, which is very impressive. After all, the social game was released on November 30, 2012, so it only took a little over a month to get to that count. In comparison, Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade (which uses the Theatrhythm art style and was created with GREE’s competitor, Mobage) reached 1 million registered users in less than a month.
