Final Fantasy Type-0 Becomes “Ultimate Hits” Game Title in Japan

Square Enix’s “Ultimate Hits” represents its best-selling games in the industry. To celebrate each game’s success, Square Enix gives the game a new “Ultimate Hits” label and then offers it to customers at a lower price.

Final Fantasy Type-0 is one of those games, and the Ultimate Hits version will be released in Japan on December 6, 2012. The new price is set at 2,940 yen (which is about $37.90 USD). Other Square Enix titles that eventually became Ultimate Hits are Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep -Final Mix- and Sime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3.

On a lighter note, Final Fantasy Type-0’s one-year anniversary will be next month, and there has been no word as to whether or not the game will be released elsewhere.
