Square Enix Releases First Episode of Final Fantasy XIII-2′s Lost Report

A couple of days ago, I informed you all that Square Enix had made plans of releasing Final Fantasy XIII-2′s Lost Report before the game’s official release. For those who are not already aware, FFXIII-2′s Lost Report series will essentially retell Final Fantasy XIII’s story in the form of video clips.

Episode 1 of FFXIII-2′s Lost Report has just recently been made available for viewing at the game’s official website.

FFXIII-2′s Lost Report will consist of six video clip episodes, each of which depict Rygdea and Yaag Rosch conveying their standpoints on the FFXIII story. The first volume is called “Gensou no Rakuen” (or its equivalent meaning, “Fantasy Paradise”) and primarily provides a recap of the Cocoon world.

In addition, Square Enix has shared the text of FFXIII’s Episode I novella which presents to us the story of what happened after the game’s end.
